Finding My 'Why'
A little while ago I posted an article to LinkedIn where I wanted to talk about my reasons for why I want to do what I want to do. Please take a read, I hope you're able to connect to my story in some way.
Being able to share my personal drivers and motivators was an opportunity to not only create a level of commitment beyond what I would tell myself I would do, but to also hopefully motivate others to consider what it is that drives them.
I had also hoped that it would help share a message that there are people out there, who due to a lack of understanding on the part of others, face barriers that don't need to exist.
Especially when it comes to the world of work and employment. When you consider the opportunity cost of not being in stable employment and the subsequent burden that can place on family members, communities and society in general, the relative effort of educating an employer and a handful of work colleagues is pretty small.
If any of this resonates with you in any way, then share with someone you think might benefit from hearing about it too.
